co-passenger, the girl in the same train journey.

How did the person spoken react?

The narrator wanted to know the girl’s face but he was unaware of her blindness. He started conversation with the girl and during the conversation, he remarked that the girl face was an interesting. The girl accepted this appreciation with ringing laugh. But she said that she was used to hear about her “pretty” face. It was no new to her.
